Kenyan-born, Georgia-raised, NYC-bred Saada Ahmed is the multi-disciplinary creative producer of Saada Adventures, an innovative new media endeavor.

She is the co-founder of acclaimed event series, Everyday People, founded in New York City in 2012—centering on community, music, activism, and wellness within the African Diaspora. Labeled “A Daytime Dance Party that Celebrates Black Diversity” (New York Times), Everyday People has grown into a cultural phenomenon through its hugely popular day parties spanning several NYC residencies and pop-ups around the world in North America, South America, Africa, the Caribbean and Europe.

While expanding Everyday People’s reach, Saada additionally launched Brothers & Sisters and Community Sessions, open forum spaces and events to propel discussion, mental health and fitness within the community. The conversations engage the audience through healthy and thought-provoking dialogue around art and wellness.

Saada’s Somali-Ethiopian roots have always been central to the ethos of her work. Galvanized by her own need to find community that both represents and maintains space and place for like-minded others, her ingenuity is noticing a clear gap and missed opportunities to represent and celebrate often overlooked folx and communities. Prior to launching Everyday People, Saada worked in the industries of fashion, music and advertising. Past collaborations and projects include HBO, BET, Saint Heron, Essence, FX, NIKE, J. Crew, Puma, the US Open, South X Southwest, Art Basel, Beauty Counter, Milk Counter and Clinique.

Saada Ahmed epitomizes the essence of paradigm shifter, tastemaker, visionary and social advocate.
